In a time when it is difficult to know who to trust or who is telling the truth about — anything — it is important that we all keep the lines of communication open and do what we do. The COVID 19 virus has been declared a Pandemic by the World Health Organization and it seems that we are now in a catch-up mode worldwide but especially here in the US. Whatever your political ideologies or personal feelings are, it is important to listen to the experts not the pundits and politicians.
We want to assure our client agencies, trainees and alumni that we are closely monitoring the situation but at this time, we fully intend to proceed with our schedule and classes. We feel that this is important because the mission of law enforcement does not stop and the skills that we teach could be even more important during chaotic times. Currently scheduled classes and other events will continue as planned with appropriate safeguards for health and welfare of our staff and those attending. We will advise those attending to bring appropriate PPE, hand sanitizer and wipes and to take necessary preventative measures during training.
We will get through this.
